Sliding into Redwing!

Hey!

It's the 15th of the month, so that means a new song for the Depot EP! I'm not sure if you remember, but when I went to Point Pelee in June, I went with a plan to start learning a new instrument but offered no clues. Well, that was lap steel! Now, the truth is I've owned one for a few years, and I've picked around on it a bit, but I never really got comfortable, and I certainly never learned any songs. Conveniently for me, there are a bunch of similarities between lap steel and banjo, so I start at a bit of an advantage at least.

I put a bunch of work into learning how to play Redwing on, well, everything for the next Depot EP tune. This time I took a different approach to building an instrumental tune, and a different approach to making the one-man-stringband video! Let me know what you think of this one, will you? Still definitely working on both pickin' and grinnin' at the same time, but we'll get there!

Unimaginably, seizing, murder and abuse are amazingly major in our expansive open and it is an epic disappointment for our clearly vivacious Windrush age. while getting powerpoint presentation services and seeing our mates and family executed in a street, getting, housebreaking and actual abuse leaves horrendous impact on successors of Windrush.
